Ready to get terrified in the middle of May? Check out my latest post in Poems & Daydreams!

Hi and welcome!
Inspired by the whimsical style of Seuss, the imagination of Silverstein, the elegant artistry of Shakespeare, the brilliance of Frost, the haunting works of Poe, and most recently, the vivid imagery of the Bible’s poetry, I write about nearly everything from my Christian faith, to love, horror, nature, and even that solitary shoe you’ve undoubtedly spotted while driving down the highway. Outside of my faith, I keep things pretty neutral so you won’t find any poems about politics or social issues.
Fun facts:
I’ve published two poetry collections and am currently working on my 3rd
I’ve finished the 24-hour Poetry Marathon 8 times (going for 9 this May!)
I am absolutely in love with my 1937 Royal Aristocrat typewriter (that’s it in the photo - I call her Emilia - after Emilia Bassano, the first woman in England to produce & publish a volume of poetry & Shakespeare’s suspected “dark lady”)
Now, go poke around. Read some poetry, check out my books, drop me a line, or give me yet another great reason to sit in front of my Royal by asking me for a custom poem.
And thank you, for stopping by!
